Meet 10.30 Holme for gardens nurseries. West Holme Wareham. BH206AQ. Park free in overflow car park. West Holme,East Stoke fen nature reserve,Rushton Common ,Holme Bridge and priory . A nice easy level walk (a few stiles) around the Frome valley.

Turn right into West Street at the 'Scott Arms and park on the road further along from the pub, opposite the church or in the Carpark in the woods further along after leaving the church on the left.By bus Breezer X40 Poole Bus Station 0935 arr Kingston, Scott Arms 1035. Walk starts 1045. At the corner by the church.

Cars park free in layby opposite NT car park,Bh205DR, or carry on up to Corfe square, and just before, take a sharp LH turn up sandy lane to Challow car park and side Rd (free) BH205JF (/// scrubbing.woes.quibble.) Or last resort West street car park BH205EB(£6/10 h).4

Rockford - Appleslade Bottom - Linford - Rockford. Meet at Rockford Comon National Trust carpark, BH24 3NA, 3SU164082, (turn right up the hill by the large sandpit) the other side of the ford after Moyles Court School.Walk starts at 10.30, No bus. Part of one path is signed as 'Adders' Habitat'. This is on a good path and I've walked it several times and no evidence of snakes, but if you are nervous about it, maybe this walk will not suit you and there are about 8 stiles.

DECEMBER 4th,

Verwood area circular
Pottern Park - Moors Valley - Pottern Park. Meet at Potterne Way, Verwood, BH21 6RS. grid ref.SU095074. Walk starts at 11am. Potterne Way is off the B3072 Verwood road/Manor road. Free car parking at end of road just inside the park. Bus X6 from Poole at 9.45 arriving at 10.52.The X6 from Bournemouth arrives too late, but those in Bmth can take the 13 from Bmth Square at 0935, Station 0944 , Winton Banks 0952, Malvern Rd 0954, Nthbourne 1002 and get off at Ferndown Town Centre at 1015 and join those on the X6 at 1028 and arrive Verwood at 1052.
