Fordingbridge– Lower Burgate Suspension Bridge - Folds Farm -Castle Hill - Wood Green - Breamore Railway Station - Walk the old railway line to Upper Burgate -Fryern Farm - Tinkers Cross - Fordingbridge. 6.5 miles. X3 bus from Bournemouth (Westover Rd) 09.50, Lansdowne 09.56, Boscombe 10.02, Royal B’mth Hosp. 10.12. Arrive Fordingbridge Post Office 10.43. Leader will meet bus and we will walk to Whitsbury Rd to join others. Walk starts at 10.50.

February 28th

Parley Cross Roads via Dudsbury Castle Rings & the Stour Valley Way to Longham & the Lakes, Haskins, and back via Poor Common to the Owls Nest. If driving turn left at the Parley Crossroads and park in the side roads near the Owls Nest Pub. Walk starts at the Owls Nest Pub at 10.20. Bus arrives at Parley Crossroads at 10.06. From the bus stop turn left and walk for 10 mins to the Owls Nest Pub. No13 bus from Bournemouth Square Stand Y at 0935, Station 9.44, Winton 9.52, Moordown 9.58. Buses back at 14.24, 14.54, 15.24, 15.57.

St Augustines Church (Cemetery Junction) - Meyrick Park - Upper Gardens- Branksome Chine - Bournemouth Pier - Meyrick Park - St Augustines Church. Meet 10.30 at church BH2 6NU. Numerous buses to Cemetery Junction. Cars can park in nearby side roads. N.B. Route can be shortened at any of 4 stages, by use of local buses.

March 27th.

Lychette Matravers Circular.
a.m Warmwell Farm Vineyards - Higher Combe - St Marys Church (800yr old Yew tree). p.m. Cocket - Dolman - Barton Hill- High St. Mostly country lanes and bridleways. 6.5 miles.Meet 10.45 Village Hall / Sports Ground Car Park (free) High St. BH16 6DF. Morebus No 10 from Poole Bus Station (Stand L) departs10.05, arrives High St.Sports Pavilion 10.36. Chequers Inn at lunchtime.

Meet at the car park at bottom of hill on the left hand side. £2 honesty box. Choice of 2 walks. Easy walk to Worbarrow Bay, or tougher walk to Kimmeridge 5½ miles.

April 24th

Wilton-Grovely Woods-Wilton
Meet 11.00 at the Market Place SP2 0HT opposite One Stop. Free car park (2/3 mins away), next to The Michael Herbert Hall, South Street, SP2 0JS, or on left hand side of street. Bus X3 from Square 08.40, RBH 09.06 to Salisbury Centre(Canal Street). Then from stop S catch either Red 8 at 10.10 or PR3 at 10.27 to Wilton Market Place. No pub.

MAY 8th.

Meet Weymouth station 10.30.Follows the course of the Quay tramway, the Portland branch and the Merchants incline to the Heights Hotel. Bus back to Weymouth. Train Bournemouth 09.32, Branksome 09.37, Parkstone 09.40, Poole 09.44, Hamworthy 09.49, arrive Weymouth 10.23. Train back to Bournemouth at xx.03 and xx.20 (does not stop at Parkstone or Branksome)

Set Thorns-Wilverley Enclosure-Sway.
Meet 10.30 at Sway Station. Parking at station (charges apply).Free parking in nearby streets. Train from Bournemouth 10.02 arrive Sway 10.24. NO PUB.

JUNE 12th

Crossways-Warmwell-Moigncombe and return. Meet 10.30 Morton train station DT2 8BB. Free parking opposite the Frampton Arms. Train Bournemouth 09.04,Poole 09.17 arrive Morton 09.43.

Meet 10.30 Wareham Quay BH20 4LP. Wareham Quay-Furzebrook-Wareham Quay. Purbeck Brezder 40 Poole bus station 09.37 arrived 10.18. Long stay car park Connegar Lane BH20 4BG (£3.50 for 4 hours)
